Heller Gallery was founded in 1972 and is therefore, one of the oldest galleries in Spain. Our work is oriented in two clearly defined directions: Spanish Realism. A trend derived from ancient Spanish Naturalism, which has marked contemporary figurative art. It has been our main field of action, not only in our meticulous work with established artists but with emerging artists as well. In this area we also pay special attention to the classics from the XVII to XIX century because of their undoubted influence in contemporary Spanish Realism. We also work with the historic avant-garde, that kind of art which is collected by newly created museums, and choose for our exhibitions the best and most prestigious names; without forgetting the new talents of abstract art.
