Paintings in the form of annotations of a travel book, other people´s matters made his own, always contemplated by an artist transformed into an imaginary island that navigates and moves, approaches or goes away.

HOPE
This series is centered in four imaginary constructions situated in Regent Gardens, four monumental gates wich remaind us the letters H, O, P and E wich he develop following a temporal sequence. Four groups, four sceneries for hope using fragments of each one of the four constructions.

These two letters represent his own initials, although they are also those of the garden surround his home in Edinburgh, RGF refers to these as true self-portraits. The marble balconies wich he places in Regent Gardens, are representations of himself, as exotic as he is in a foreign place like Scotland.

HOLYROOD
The thirty paintings wich make up this series narrate in a elliptical manner his experiences and particular relationship with the landscape wich can be seen from the window of his house in Edinburgh, usin the personality of his friends and relatives who have shared that knowledge as a filter.

This series represents iconografic variations on love and death throught thirty "san sebastians" interpreted by so many friends of RGF. An extraordinary gallery of psychological portraits where desire, love, pleasure and fear intersect in a subtle and risky way, discovering many of the secrets and intimacies of man´s personality.

CAÍDA DEL IMPERIO ROMANO
This series composed by a dozen of paintings besides drawings, engravings and a sculpture develops the tribulations between two characters: one interpreted by a monkey that could represent the wicked forces and another in the shape of an angel that would be goodness. In their crazy career they destabilize the world that sorrounds them.
